Official Google Reader Blog: Upcoming changes to Reader: a new look, new Google+ features, and some clean-up

I have been interested to see whether they would integrate Reader with Google+, but not pleased to see them removing features; I make a lot of use of my shared item page and feed.
Many of Reader's social features will soon be available via Google+, so in a week's time we'll be retiring things like friending, following and shared link blogs inside of Reader.

It probably wouldn't have occurred to me to mistrust such things; whadda ya know.
...some environmental and health advocates fear the chemical may interfere with thyroid function, promote resistant strains of bacteria or create dangerous byproducts.The Canadian Medical Association has called for a ban, saying the benefits of anti-bacterial products are minimal compared to regular washing with soap.
