Never been a fan of the campy aspects of the James Bond series; so as one of the few people who’s favourite Bond was Timothy Dalton, I welcome this return to a more serious interpretation. I really enjoyed it, but it loses a star for the lengthy poker and romance scenes, and a slightly unsatisfying ending.

I remember getting in trouble in my highschool library for laughing so uncontrollably while reading The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The earlier books in the series are better than the later ones — but if you’re intelligent, enjoy science fiction, and are looking for something light and funny, this is the series for you.
