Rocky Balboa (movie review) / 51Vu5WoDjxL. SL160 Heartfelt trip into the nostalgia of the Rocky franchise; doesn’t really blaze any new trails, but still a compentent sequel even after all these years. (I thought the subtle glimpses of Mickey during the fight were a particularly nice touch.)

After Rocky Balboa, I was expecting to see Stallone return to the tones of the original First Blood film here — but alas, no. Nothing but an intensely gory waste of time.
