Movie Review, July 2008

Wall E (movie review) / 51lXr2iiC5L. SL160 I went into this thinking that it was the kind of story I would love as a child of the 80s (and fan of Silent Running, E.T., Short Circuit, Romie-0 and Julie-8, etc.), but the film turned out to be overrated. It was a solid Pixar story (and better than Cars), but I just didn’t connect with it like I thought I would. My son was bored and wanted to leave, and my wife fell asleep. It’s one of those films where you see all the best parts during the trailer.

In the last few months, I’ve had the chance to work with the latest versions of all three of the major operating systems; Windows Vista (SP1), Mac OS X (Leopard), and Ubuntu Linux (Hardy Heron).
